Rigging and dogman services in the Whitsundays
Licensed dogmen and riggers, lift planning and our Hino crane truck. The crew and gear that get a load slung, guided and landed safely across the Whitsundays.

The crew behind every lift
A crane is only as safe as the people slinging and guiding the load. Every crane we send comes with a licensed operator, and we supply licensed dogmen and riggers to sling the load, direct the operator and land it where it needs to go.
For smaller jobs our Hino 300 crane truck carries the load on its tray and lifts it into place with its Unic crane, so a delivery and a lift happen in one trip. Our larger truck carries rigging gear and equipment to site.

Every lift planned
Lofty holds an intermediate rigging (RI) ticket. He checks the site, works out the rigging and the lift, and prepares the lift plan and SWMS before the day. On site our dogmen and riggers check the gear, sling the load and guide every move, so the operator is never lifting blind.

Rigging and dogman questions
Do I need a dogman for my lift?
Most lifts do. A licensed dogman slings the load and directs the operator, and one is required when the operator can't see the load for the whole lift. We'll tell you when we quote.
What can the Hino crane truck carry and lift?
The tray carries up to 3.5 tonne and the Unic 265 crane lifts up to 2 tonne, so it can deliver and place smaller loads in one trip.
Do you prepare lift plans?
Yes. We prepare a lift plan and Safe Work Method Statement for every job, after a site check.
What areas do you cover?
Airlie Beach, Cannonvale, Proserpine, Bowen, Collinsville and the rest of the Whitsunday region, the islands, and mine sites from Coppabella to Collinsville.
