Construction and civil crane hire in the Whitsundays

Cranes for builders and civil
From a single truss lift on a house build to a full steel frame for a commercial shed, we supply the right crane and a crew that knows building sites. Our Frannas drive in, pick up and place without setting up outriggers, and our 55T truck crane and 80T all-terrain handle the heavy steel and long reach.
On civil and roadworks we place culverts, pipes and precast for councils and contractors, with the lift plan and SWMS ready before we arrive.

Planned before we arrive
Lofty checks the site, ground, access and overhead lines first, then picks the crane and prepares the lift plan and Safe Work Method Statement. Our systems are certified to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, and we're CICA members, which helps when you need a contractor that passes prequalification.

Construction crane hire questions
Do you supply the operator and dogman?
Yes. Every crane comes with a licensed operator, and we supply dogmen and riggers to sling, guide and land the load.
Can you work on council and civil projects?
Yes. We place culverts, pipes and precast on civil works and roadworks, and can supply our lift plans, SWMS and ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certificates for your paperwork.
Which crane do I need for my build?
It depends on the heaviest lift, how far it is from where the crane can set up, and the access. Send us the weights and site details and Lofty will pick the crane and confirm it with a site check.
