Residential crane hire in Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays
Pools, spas, excavators and building materials onto house blocks across Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays, including the steep and tight sites the area is known for.

Lifts for homes and builders
Most house jobs come down to a heavy load, a tight driveway and a steep block. Our Frannas need no outriggers, so they fit narrow streets and driveways and carry the load to where it's going. When the lift has to go over the house or a long way into the backyard, the 55T truck crane has the reach.
We lift for homeowners, pool and spa companies, builders and landscapers, with the same licensed crew and lift planning as our commercial jobs.

We check your block first
Steep blocks, soft ground, power lines, trees and neighbours all affect a house lift. Lofty visits the site for free, works out where the crane can set up and how far it needs to reach, and prepares the lift plan and SWMS. If the crane needs the road, he'll tell you what's needed before the day.

Residential crane hire questions
Can you lift a pool or spa over my house?
Often, yes. It depends on the weight, how far it is from where the crane can set up to where it lands, and what's in the way. Our 55T has the reach for many over-the-house lifts, and Lofty confirms it on a free site check.
Do I need a permit if the crane sets up on the street?
Sometimes. If the crane needs to set up on the road you may need traffic control or a permit. Lofty will tell you what's required at the site check.
Will the crane damage my driveway or lawn?
We check the ground and driveway at the site check and plan where the crane sets up and travels to protect it. Let us know about anything fragile, like pavers or septic tanks.
